    The Titanium 50 offers a very extensive capacity on a small surface and is extremely suitable for flexibly automating larger and smaller series. The concept is set up in a modular way, with a choice of pallet and / or product loading. The automation solution has two pallet loading stations for manually changing pallets or providing them with material.

    The standard Titanium 50 is fitted with a pallet module that facilitates an exceptionally high number of pallet positions. The operator can manually clamp products to a pallet and have the robot continuously load and unload them onto the CNC machine. The standard Titanium 50 has 16 pallet shelves that are 960 mm wide. This results in a pallet capacity of 48 pallets sized 295 x 295 mm with a maximum height of 350 mm. The top row of the racks provides nine pallet places without height restriction.

    The standard Titanium 50 is equipped for pallet loading. For business operators who want to obtain greater output from their CNC machine, BMO Automation also offers the option of choosing the product-loading module. This module also allows the robot to load individual products onto your CNC machine. The Titanium 50 with product and pallet loading has a flexible drawer system. The machine operator can fill this drawer system with the material for machining. The robot autonomously slides these productdrawers to it in order to pick up raw materials and load them onto the CNC machine. After processing, the robot places the machined products back in the drawer and slides them to the middle position. The operator can then pull out the drawer and empty all the finished products it contains. This means drawers can be loaded and unloaded during operation without interrupting the production process.

    The drawer system can be configured as required. The standard configuration consists of four drawers, all with dimensions of 875 x 420 mm. The Titanium 50 can be expanded up to a maximum of seven drawers. Each drawer can carry a maximum weight of 300 kg. If the product module is chosen, the robot comes with a gripper exchange system that allows the robot to attach both pallets and grippers. This allows the robot to mount both pallets and grippers. The product drawers can be provided with different grids, optimizing the available space for your products. This allows you to store as many products as possible in the Titanium 50 for the highest possible number of spindle hours. The variable drawer system also makes it possible to automate products with different heights.

This “chuck plate” is equipped with pallet installation control and is tailor-made for the machine table of your CNC machine.     Simple and User-Friendly

    The Titanium 50 is operated by the BMO Intelligent Control System. This software makes it unnecessary to use the robot’s teach pendant. The operator controls the Titanium using two Multi-touch screens (IP67) mounted on the sides of the robot cell and connected to a high-end control system. No extensive robot knowledge is required to operate the Titanium 50. After the installation of the Titanium your operators receive a day-long training. This day consists of a theoretical training from the BMO Software with all the chosen options and a practical training with your own products. After the training, your operators are independently capable of controlling the robot.

    The Titanium 50 with product and pallet loading allows you to work with two different job types. ‘Product jobs’ for loading products in the machine clamp and ‘Pallet jobs’ for loading pallets on the zero point clamping system in the CNC machine. The pallet job has a range of functionalities. Since the system has two exchange stations, pallets can be quickly replenished. The software records the status of the pallets.

    Production of a new job is commenced by entering different parameters, product dimensions, product quantities, gripper selection and machine clamp properties. The very intuitive operating procedure is so simple that a new job can be created within one minute. The software not only offers great advantage when initiating the process but also when monitoring it. Remaining times, cycle times and processed products are calculated and, if you opt for the optional mail module, can also be retrieved remotely.

    The manual operation of the machine clamp, robot gripper and access door of the cell can also be controlled via the touch screen. In addition, the speed of the robot can be controlled by the software and various software options can be implemented.

    To ensure optimal flexibility, BMO Automation offers a choice of many different gripper options. There is a gripper solution for every product.

    BMO has developed the servo jaws to enable the greatest possible flexibility. Selecting this option means that the parallel or three-point gripper is fitted with automatically adjustable gripper jaws. By means of a simple operation, the operator is able to enter the product’s size into the BMO Intelligent Control, after which the servo gripper automatically adjusts to the entered size. As a result, multiple product sizes can be loading in a fully automated manner as part of a single continuous process. Gripper fingers no longer have to be switched manually.

    With a parallel gripper, products can be grasped in the range of 0 to 164 mm or 109 to 274 mm without the intervention of the operator.

    A three-point gripper can grab round products in a range of 3 to 196 mm or 144 to 310 mm without operator intervention.
