Three new innovations at AMB 2022 in Stuttgart

BMO Automation will be launching three new innovations at the AMB 2022, to be held in Stuttgart from 13 to 17 September. You will find BMO at three different locations during the AMB:

Hall 6 at our own exhibition stand
Hall 7 at the Mazak Europe stand
Hall 10 at the Okuma Europe stand

    Hall 6: New software release

Too much work and too few, or too few experienced, CNC operators? Are your (less experienced) CNC operators still able to keep track of all that is to be produced during the coming night? Are they sure they have selected the correct gripper jaws? And that these are available in the system? Do the tools have enough tool life left to complete all the series? The new software release provides a complete, at-a-glance overview. This allows your (less experienced) operators to quickly identify and resolve any potential problems. During the AMB you can experience the new release for yourself at the BMO stand in hall 6. Talk to our people for a one-on-one demonstration.

A new chapter for our software:
With the new release, a long-awaited vision becomes reality. The interaction between robot and user has now reached a turning point. In fact, with the new release, the roles of the user and robot cell are completely reversed. We will show you how exactly this works in hall 6.

    The user remains in control:
The user tells the robot what to do via the software. That does not change, because the user is always in control. What does change is the monitoring role. The new release shifts the monitoring role from the user to the software. As a result, the automation can now be operated even more easily by less experienced users. This allows the (less experienced) operator to prepare one, or even two, CNC machines for operation during the night or weekend with even more confidence. See for yourself in hall 6.

Hall 10: Okuma Genos with Iridium HYBRID Frontloader

In hall 10, at the stand of our strategic partner Okuma, you will find the new Iridium HYBRID Frontloader. Okuma will present this flexible robot cell by conducting live Multi Batch demonstrations on an Okuma Genos M460-5AX milling machine. In addition to its proven machining tools, Okuma has a great first at its stand with the premiere of this BMO robot cell. Be sure not to miss Okuma Europe’s stand in hall 10.

    Hall 7: Mazak C600 with Platinum 50

Mazak and BMO announced their strategic cooperation to the world back at EMO 2021. Since then, the benefits for customers have become increasingly clear. Mazak’s new C600 and CV5-500 machining centres can now be delivered with BMO Multi Batch automation directly from Mazak. At its stand in hall 7, Mazak will show a Platinum 50 robot cell integrated with a Mazak Variaxis C600 milling machine. The performance of this productive combination will, of course, be demonstrated live. Visit the Mazak stand in hall 7.

Hall 6: BMO’s own stand with Iridium HYBRID Sideloader

The Iridium HYBRID will, naturally, also be presented in Sideloader configuration. You will find it at the BMO stand in hall 6. Here we will show you how to implement Multi Batch automation. In other words: unmanned production of multiple small series and single pieces. With intelligent CNC automation, you can also split large series into multiple small series. You can then produce these small series in order of priority (High Mix – High Volume). Talk to us, because automating your (existing) CNC machine provides additional performance immediately, without the need for additional operators.
